Propel UW’s Geology Field Programs into the Future

The Department of Geology and Geophysics is celebrating our 100th year of field camp—talk about the Power of 10! We couldn’t think of a better way to recognize this important milestone than by building the foundations for an even more impactful and stronger geology and geophysics field program at the University of Wyoming for the next 100 years.

To do this, we ask for your support to propel our field-based programs into the future with funds to purchase advanced technology such as ruggedized laptops with GPS and GIS software for our undergraduate field courses. We also seek support to help cover student expenses on field experiences such as our highly successful Grand Canyon float trip and learning adventure.
