Help the UW Nordic Ski Team buy a much-needed new trailer!
As the coaches of the team over the last 25 years, we have been honored to lead the team to many successes both on and off the ski trails. In the U.S. Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association Nationals, our skiers have achieved 13 overall National Titles and 184 Academic All-American distinctions, and we have qualified for and attended the World University Games held in Europe a number of times. Our athletes also engage in integrated academic research while traveling to both domestic and international ski competitions.
Last year our beloved trailer began to wither. We found ourselves at U.S. Nationals in Houghton, Michigan, when our wheel springs went out. We were able to get the trailer fixed, but the mechanic told us it was really time to invest in something that would be safer. Thus, we are calling on our community to help us make this purchase. The new trailer will cost approximately $13,000.
