Please support our Laramie County pharmacy students through the Laramie County Pharmaceutical Association Scholarship.
The Laramie County Pharmaceutical Association Scholarship was established in 1985 to provide financial assistance to students pursuing a degree in pharmacy at the University of Wyoming. The scholarship was originally created for Laramie County residents entering their second year or above of pre-pharmacy at the Laramie County Community College and the University of Wyoming. The scholarship was formally established for the University of Wyoming in 2014.
The scholarship has been awarded to a Laramie County student every year since 1985. Our most recent recipient in 2021 is Christa Vanlandirgham.
“Receiving a scholarship has much more meaning than simply receiving monetary support,” says Christa. “Being awarded this scholarship showed to me importance of community within the field of pharmacy and the continued support I will always have. It’s easy to get overwhelmed and feel like you will be on your own. However, there will always be individuals in the field of pharmacy that will gather to support you. I greatly appreciate your generosity and support as I work towards achieving my goals.”
