The School of Computing has had an exciting year, including welcoming the Wyoming Geographic Information Science and the Data Science Centers into the school. We are equally excited for the year to come, especially our new academic programs and student experiences. We have a brand-new Minor in Computing as well as a bachelor's in geographic information systems or GIS, both of which launched this fall.
Your Giving Day support this year goes to students—new students in these programs as well as those already enrolled in the GIS, remote sensing, master's degree programs, and more.
Funds raised this Giving Day will be used to help support professional development activities for students, including attendance and participation in scientific meetings, specialized workshops, short courses, and field trips. These types of activities help build key life skills as well as enhance content knowledge and abilities. Join us in supporting the next generation of computing professionals.
And, in celebration of the School of Computing’s second year, we will have a Director’s Double Dare Match. A $1,500 matching fund will be available, and if you donate within the first two hours, we will double your impact (until the matching fund runs out)!
Thank you for your contribution!
