Did you benefit from a scholarship during your college years? They are vital to student success. At the heart of our scholarship program is the Steve Elliott Scholarship in Communication Disorders.

Originally established by Steve Elliott, a former client of the University of Wyoming Speech and Hearing Clinic, this scholarship holds a special place in our community. Steve's journey included years of receiving services and building connections with our faculty and students. In the 1990s, he initiated a modest nonendowed scholarship for speech language pathology majors, a gesture of gratitude for the support he received. Then ,in 2015, in honor of Steve's legacy, his lifelong friends Paul and Judy Lerwick generously endowed and grew the Steve Elliott Scholarship.
