The University of Wyoming Low Income Taxpayer Clinic provides assistance for low-income individuals and those with English as a second language, offering support in navigating tax disputes with the Internal Revenue Service.
Upon its creation in the spring of 2022, the clinic swiftly established itself as the sole provider of pro bono tax representation in Wyoming, extending its services to numerous clients across the state.
The Low Income Taxpayer Clinic’s federal funding partner matches up to $200,000 in grant funding to us annually – every dollar we raise today will unlock those grant dollars. We align with organizations such as legal aids, academic clinics, and other nonprofits, all united in the shared vision of safeguarding taxpayer rights.
Our clinic embodies the spirit of equity in the tax system, serving the low-income and English as a second language taxpayer communities.
- We offer complimentary representation in IRS tax disputes.
- We educate our clients on their entitlements and duties as taxpayers.
- We advocate for resolutions that significantly affect these taxpayers.
Your support empowers the clinic to further its reach and supports underserved communities across Wyoming. Thank you!
