The possibilities are endless at the University of Wyoming College of Arts and Sciences!
If students want to live a fulfilling and stimulating life, then they need to prepare by cultivating broad perspectives, empathetic approaches to people throughout the world, and the ability to look at situations through a reasonable lens. If students desire to learn how to think, rather than what to think, they can begin their academic adventures with the College of Arts and Sciences where undergraduate students are encouraged to conduct student-originated research, work one-on-one with a professor through independent studies, and take advantage of study abroad opportunities.
People with liberal arts and sciences degrees can become journalists, public relations professionals, museum curators, national park rangers, archivists, scientific researchers working in the private or public sector, writers and editors, policy makers and politicians, performers on Broadway or with the Metropolitan Opera, professional artists and graphic designers, or they can create their own businesses. Many A&S graduates continue their education at law, medical, and other professional schools, while others continue studying their area of interest in graduate school and become college and university professors.
The re-imagined College of Arts and Sciences is looking to the future and is excited about the possibilities. With that, our Giving Day campaign is to support the A&S Dean’s Visioning Fund. The fund supports faculty, student, and staff projects that aim to improve the college in many ways, including supporting research projects, travel opportunities, and experiential learning, among others. This in turn impacts students in a myriad of ways.
Join our team by becoming a partner in all that Arts and Sciences does! Thank you so much for your support.
