Be a “Stan” of the Stan Lee exhibit!
Stan Lee had a 30-year relationship with the American Heritage Center and every year sent materials to the Center. Even though he never earned a college degree, he called the University of Wyoming “his university” because of this connection. These materials now constitute a unique collection of Stan’s life, activities, and accomplishments. All told, the AHC houses more than 125 cubic feet of Stan Lee Americana!
In May 2024, the AHC will open its doors to the Stan Lee exhibit!
The exhibit will look at Stan Lee the person, from his childhood to his later years. It will feature his relations with his fans, the creative process he and his teams followed, his family, and many other aspects of his business and artistic creativity.
The exhibit will be free and open to the public thanks to the support of donors like you!
Incentives:
- To commemorate this exhibit, the AHC has designed four trading cards.
- One card is available for a gift of $19.22. (Stan Lee was born in 1922.)
- All four cards can be had for a donation of $75
- For $100, the donor receives all four trading cards and will also be entered in a drawing to receive a behind-the-scenes tour of the exhibit and of the AHC for up to 8 people.
- For a donation of $500 or more, the donor and a guest will be invited to the grand-opening reception.
Help the AHC in the area of greatest need:
- The American Heritage Center is one of the jewels in the University of Wyoming crown.
- The Center’s dedicated staff serve nearly 4,000 users each year -- ranging from K-12 students, to UW classes, to some of the top scholars from across the globe.
- Support the American Heritage Center as it works to Collect, Preserve, and Share our history.
