Glynn D. Key (Col ’86, Law ’89) was an outstanding leader and a visionary whose work led to the creation of the Ridley Scholarship Program in 1987. Her eponymous award offered through the program empowers out-of-state students with opportunities to fulfill their dreams of attending the University of Virginia. As we approach the 10- year anniversary of Glynn’s passing, our goal is to raise $1million to fully fund a four-year, out-of-state scholarship, covering full tuition and fees, and begin awarding it in the 2025-2026 academic year. Please join us as we kick off this campaign to honor Glynn’s memory.
Thank you to our dedicated community who came together to ensure that this environment of learning, leadership, and legacy for Black students at UVA lasts and grows for decades.
We are so grateful to everyone who chose to make a gift and support Ridley Scholars—and the legacy of Dr. Ridley—in such a tangible way.
And if you missed it, you can still give!
