About

Quite simply, COBI = Careers! Each business student’s collegiate journey, including classroom education, travel, networking, and more, enabled 90 percent of Spring 2019 COBI graduates to have jobs in their chosen fields shortly after graduation. Not only that, but 85% of COBI students acquire an internship, with a high percentage of those leading to full-time positions.

For these reasons, among others, Bloomberg Business Week has ranked The University of Toledo COBI in its top 100 best undergraduate business schools in the nation since 2016. Our engaged faculty, high-tech facilities, and a growing international reputation also contribute to COBI having a record-high enrollment of nearly 2,700 undergraduate students and almost 600 graduate students this year.

COBI has long declared that its mission is “Developing Lifelong Leaders for the World of Business.” For hundreds of students, this life-changing reality can only begin if supported by scholarships. COBI awards about $400,000 annually for scholarships.

COBI students participate year-round in leadership conferences, sales and supply chain competitions, student organization meetings, study abroad, and field trips to businesses near and far. These activities as well as semi-annual job fairs, student community outreach activities and multicultural events all provide students with an enriching education.

Support of the UToledo College of Business and Innovation during the 2019 Day of Giving can have an immediate and lasting impact.

Funding Priorities:

College of Business and Innovation Student Travel Fund (2402552)
