The University of St. Thomas is committed to educating all deserving students from around the world, regardless of their ability to afford tuition costs. Our pioneering degree programs in St. John Paul II studies have captured the attention of people of different nationalities and all walks of life. There has been a great deal of interest from students in Africa, and we currently have four African students enrolled, and anticipate more will be applying. Because these students come from impoverished communities, we wish to make it possible for them to continue their study of St. John Paul II for the next year by raising $10,000 for our general Institute scholarship fund. St John Paul II proclaimed that the hour of Africa has arrived and that the Church should do all that it can to assist the Church in Africa. UST is proud to be assisting these African students in pursuit of their education.
