The past year has been emotionally difficult for many, most especially those on the frontline of the COVID response, such as healthcare workers, first responders and teachers. The Counseling Training Clinic (CTC) was created with a purpose to address the needs of those heroes, as well as to provide a space for counselors-in-training to learn their practice. The CTC has offered pro-bono counseling in UST’s Healing Our Heroes initiative, which has only been possible from the support we have received thus far. Choosing to support the CTC this Giving Day will help maintain technology and infrastructure needed to provide high-quality, ethical, secure and comfortable sessions for clients and UST students. With continued support, the CTC hopes to eventually expand its reach to the general public and encourage mental health wellness in the larger community. The CTC appreciates any support to help keep this resource an option for those in need.
