USD is opening a NEW program to make a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree accessible to ALL California RNs!
The USD Hahn School of Nursing and Health Science is proud to offer this new program for nurses ready to transform their skills into advanced expertise and visionary leadership. With tracks in Nursing Leadership, Nursing Informatics, and Nursing Education, this program empowers nurses to advance their careers while elevating the healthcare system as a whole.
The RN to MSN SUCCESS FUND is a pivotal program designed for nurses who have earned a diploma or an associate degree from a community college and are seeking to elevate their careers. Recognizing the necessity for advanced education in nursing, this fund facilitates a fast track for these professionals to obtain a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) within just three years.
A key concentration offered through this program is that of a nurse educator, to address the nursing shortage. This focus directly tackles the critical shortage of nurse educators, which limits the number of nurses nursing schools can accept. This shortage is further compounded by an aging population and the growing need for improved health outcomes.
