Support USD ROTC on Torero Tuesday!
The purpose of the Navy ROTC Program is to educate and train qualified young men and women for service as commissioned officers in the Navy's unrestricted line, the Navy Nurse Corps and the Marine Corps. The Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps San Diego Consortium was established in the summer 1982. The Battalion has grown from an initial cadre of 28 to its current strength of over 230 students. This includes Midshipmen, active duty Marines participating in the Marine Enlisted Commissioning Education Program (MECEP), and active duty sailors who have been selected for the Seaman to Admiral 21 (STA-21) Officer Candidate program.
Donating to NROTC San Diego is a way to support all unit activities for the members of our program. Many unit items such as student leadership conferences, activities, club events, and purchasing unit merchandise are not funded through the department of defense. We see these components as pivotal elements in the development of future officers. Whether it be creating stronger, more competent leaders through leadership conferences, gaining camaraderie and togetherness through club events, or fostering a sense of pride through merchandise items, by donating to this cause, you are ensuring and supporting the growth and development of the future leaders in the United States Navy and Marine Corps.
Thank you for your donation to NROTC San Diego. You are directly contributing to the development of future Navy and Marine Corps leaders. We truly appreciate your contribution.
