This #GivingTuesday, join us in a mission of resilience and recovery for our Bulldog community.
Never has the Bulldog spirit of compassion and strength been more evident than in the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Helene. Alumni, faculty, staff, family, and Asheville community members rallied together with incredible generosity in the immediate days following the storm.
And yet the need for your support continues.
Recovery is a long road, which is why we need you, and 299 other UNC Asheville supporters, to help us secure essential aid for our community before midnight on December 3. This is a #GivingTuesday like no other, but, with your help, we can mobilize the resources our University urgently needs to rebuild and sustain our community.
Here's how your gift of any size will help:
- Our UNC Asheville Disaster Relief Fund directly benefits students, faculty, and staff through our Helene Hardship Grants.
- Our University's Area of Greatest Need provides immediate flexibility and resilience to where our community needs it most.
- Our Athletics Disaster Relief Fund offsets the relocation of student-athletes and provides aid to the Women's Golf and Women's Tennis Teams for equipment replacement.
- Our OLLI Disaster Relief Fund ensures that the Reuter Center remains a beacon on our campus for our lifelong learners who need community now more than ever.

Please keep the generosity flowing! We still need 150 Bulldogs to pledge their support of any size before midnight tomorrow to unlock a $5,000 gift to the University's Area of Greatest Need.
Each and every gift made to UNC Asheville this #GivingTuesday will be immediately deployed to help our students receive the resources they need (including shelter, food, and transportation) as we aim to return to a sense of normalcy post-Helene. Thank you!
