UMGC Global Give 2025 - Volunteer Day

In recognition of National Volunteer Month, join University of Maryland Global Campus and Junior Achievement for UMGC Global Give 2025 – Volunteer Day to inspire and guide middle school students from local communities with financial literacy education at innovative Finance Parks! UMGC alumni and students are invited to volunteer alongside UMGC staff on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at four MD and VA locations. 

During UMGC Volunteer Day, you will help young teens: 

• Navigate interactive digital simulations to learn real-life financial skills 
• Rotate around the Finance Park “mini cities” with custom business storefronts 
• Expand their knowledge about careers, savings, budgeting, and financial decisions 
• Gain helpful insight preparing them for work and life decision-making in the real world 

Wear comfortable shoes and UMGC colors (red, yellow, black) to show your school pride! A UMGC t-shirt will be provided to adult volunteers during check-in. To ensure student safety, advance registration is required for this event (no walk-ins).
