Homecoming 2024 Virtual Networking Hour

Register today to attend the UMGC Virtual Networking Hour on Tuesday, October 1 from 7 – 8 p.m. EDT in the UMGC Metaverse. Join us again for our second time bringing this unique virtual experience to alumni and students through innovative connection and digital exploration! 

What is the Metaverse? It is an immersive 3D virtual experience where you can join a shared space using an avatar through a computer.   

Online lounge spaces will be hosted for you to drop in, network, and celebrate UMGC Homecoming with your school - Business, Cybersecurity and Information Technology, or Integrative and Professional Studies. 

During this virtual event, you will be able to: 

• Expand your professional network by connecting with fellow students, alumni, faculty and staff in the “Imagination Networking Lounge." 
• Learn how UMGC schools continue to transform lives through innovation, education, and empowerment. 
• Get started on your virtual quest in the Metaverse to receive fun swag. 
• Learn about community benefits, exclusive career resources, and engaging opportunities to stay connected year-round!

If you would like to give a donation during your registration, the funds received will benefit the UMGC Student Aid for Emergency Relief Fund (SAFER) providing direct aid to students worldwide experiencing financial hardship related to an unforeseen emergency.
