ACE Student Scholar Grant Program: ACE (Advancing Community-Engaged) Student Scholars Grants support student-led community-engaged research or creative work projects. Your support for the ACE Student Scholars Grant Program enables students to pursue impactful, community-engaged work without financial constraints. $6,000 will cover funding for two ACE Student Scholars Grants. Your contribution ensures they can focus on creating enduring impacts and lasting outcomes within and beyond their community.
CWC Emergency & Enrichment Fund: Enrichment funds are considered for CWC Leadership Scholars seeking to pursue opportunities related to enhancing their leadership development. Emergency funds are considered for CWC Leadership Scholars who are unable to meet immediate, essential expenses because of a temporary hardship related to an unexpected situation directly impacting the student's ability to persist at DU. $6,000 will cover funding for up to 12 students for academic and leadership pursuits. Students who received enrichment funds have bought professional clothes for a conference, traveled to study abroad, and purchased a flight to attend an internship in another state. Scholars who received emergency funds have been able to purchase health insurance, stay in housing, and have funds for food and other basic needs. Your donation will support a scholar to be a successful student at DU and attain their goals.
The PLP Fund for Leadership Development supports student leadership engagement inside and outside of the classroom. Funds raised this year will support students’ leadership development by providing access to the Insights Discovery assessment for all students and project funds for students’ community initiatives. $10,000 will support PLP students’ leadership development including access for all our first-year students to complete our signature Insights Discovery experience and individual and community leadership projects. Thanks to you, students will be able to take learning from the classroom to the community!
The Honors Program is a community of students, faculty, and staff who are hungry for knowledge, passionate about a wide range of topics, and who want to learn in community with one another – both within the classroom and beyond. Honors interterm travel courses provide unique, interdisciplinary experiences for Honors students. $6,000 will support between 6-10 students in funding their transportation, program fees, or tuition costs associated with interterm travel courses. Your support helps make interterm travel financially accessible to a broader range of students, allowing them to experience these once-in-a-lifetime courses.
