About

Your gift to the Sturm College of Law on 1DAY4DU – of any amount – will advance our mission and vision and provide vital support for our critical institutional priorities. Financial support from alumni and friends provides a solid foundation for continued excellence from Denver’s only law school. Annual gifts that make an immediate impact to endowed gifts that last for generations, contributions to the Sturm College of Law provide scholarships to deserving students, funding for innovative programs and top-tier faculty and experiential learning in our nationally recognized clinical programs.

Making a gift to the Sturm College of Law is an investment in the future!

The Denver Law Fund supports the Sturm College of Law’s most important strategic initiatives. Whether it is tackling the cost of law school attendance or launching innovative new programs, the fund allows us to be creative in providing an outstanding legal education and offering opportunities for our students. Gifts to the Denver Law Fund will provide vital support for these critical institutional priorities.

Educational Opportunity: The Denver Law Scholarship Fund provides full-ride scholarship opportunities, such as the Sturm Law Scholars Program and Chancellor’s Scholars Program, as well as the many other funding opportunities available for first-year and continuing students, making law school and legal career dreams a reality. We seek to raise funds to permit outstanding and public-spirited students to attend the Sturm College of Law, irrespective of need.

Interdisciplinary Inquiry: We seek support to create a set of endowed faculty positions designed to recruit, reward, and retain outstanding scholar-teachers. Through their teaching, scholarship, and public engagement, faculty members at the Sturm College of Law contribute to scholarly understanding of the law, train outstanding future lawyers, and advance justice and beneficial law reform. Our faculty members are dedicated teachers, respected scholars, and strong allies of the bench and bar, and your support through 1DAY4DU helps retain and recognize these stellar individuals.

Access to Justice: We seek support for initiatives that advance social justice, including programs, clinics, externships, and postgraduate fellowships that advance diversity, equity, inclusion, and economic opportunity.

Experiential Learning has defined our culture for more than a century. We prioritize our students, and we are dedicated to providing the practical skills they need to succeed in their chosen careers. Denver Law's clinical program offers students the opportunity to learn about lawyering skills in the real world with clients who face a variety of issues for which they might not otherwise have legal representation.
