Help us build for the future as we blaze new trails in teaching, research and community partnerships. With over a century of leadership in business education, the Daniels College of Business is building on our strong legacy of excellence to prepare the ethical business leaders and entrepreneurs of tomorrow. Your 1DAY4DU commitment ensures we continue preparing our students to make a powerful difference in their local and global communities.
An undergraduate-focused program, the Daniels Professional Development Program Fund (DPDP) assists students in exploring majors and industries, preparing them to apply to graduate school, maintaining a personal brand and online image, practicing for interviews, and negotiating offers. Daniels also provides networking opportunities through its mentorship programs, career fairs and employer information sessions. The reach of donor support is significant, benefiting anywhere from 150-300 business students yearly, and the program has proven foundational for their career success.
The Daniels Faculty Fellowship Program was established to recognize and support our most promising faculty who will ultimately assume critical academic and administrative leadership responsibilities. Stipends are awarded to faculty members for use outside of the classroom including research, travel and conferences. Dollars raised for the Daniels Faculty Fellowship Fund also serve as the catalyst for faculty research, student mentorship and rigorous teaching. Support significantly contributes to our ability to attract, retain, and honor outstanding faculty.
Entrepreneurship@DU is available to every student on DU’s campus, giving students the freedom and space to think big, disrupt with purpose, solve problems and make an impact. Programming like the Madden Challenge, BASE Camp and workshop series provides students with opportunities to ideate and build their businesses right here on DU’s campus. Funding delivers an unrivaled student experience that prepares principled leaders and innovators. Gifts to this fund provide students the flexibility to seize new educational opportunities and offer access to a range of support – everything from mentors and networking, 3D printers and supplies, high-tech tools for fashion entrepreneurs, resources for experimenting in packaging prototypes and in-house marketing, camera and video equipment and more. Your gift to Entrepreneurship@DU transforms our student experiences!
Positioned to serve as a premier resource for family businesses, family offices, and practitioners, the Bailey Program for Family Enterprise provides education, community research and advocacy to benefit the public good. Family members and practitioners build relevant skills and meaningful connections for the long-term success of their enterprises and the wellbeing of their families across generations.
An initiative from the Daniels College of Business Alumni Advisory Board (AAB), funding from this endowed scholarship provides professional development funds for business students. Scholarships in the past have been used for industry conferences, leadership training and fellowships. In 2023, dozens of student applicants represented a demand that far exceeded expectations and our capacity to satisfy them. The Alumni Advisory Board aims to expand the fund and provide greater opportunities for future business leaders to learn and grow.
