Emergency Relief for our UCF Family
UCF students and employees are being affected in very real ways by the COVID-19 pandemic. Many have no safety net and urgently need your help.
If you're among those in a position to help UCF students who are struggling due to the COVID-19 pandemic, your support is urgently needed. Without a safety net, losing a job or a housing arrangement can be disastrous.
Gifts to these specific funds will provide immediate relief for students or employees who are housing- and food-insecure, or who need emergency funding to get through this difficult time.
- Student Emergency Fund โ provides short-term emergency student funding for school related expenses, housing, transportation, medical and food
- Student Housing Insecurity Fund โ provides micro-grants to help pay for moves and deposits and cover short-term gaps as students relocate or re-situate
- Employee Relief Fund โ provides assistance to UCF employees who are hit especially hard during major events like hurricanes or global pandemics
As we continue to work together to meet unprecedented challenges, let us all remember to be patient and kind. Together, we will do what Knights do best: Charge On!
Thank you for your generosity.

Ways to Access Financial Relief
We are committed to supporting and offering relief resources for our Knights. UCF students who are experiencing a distressing situation that significantly impacts academic or personal success should contact Student Care Services by email at caremanager@ucf.edu. Faculty or staff experiencing a distressing situation should contact UCF Human Resources at askhr@ucf.edu.
For most UCF students and employees, navigating the sudden changes in learning, work and lifestyle brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic has been trying. For others, it has been catastrophic. As a result of job loss or other economic impacts, these Knights face questions not only about the future of their academic or professional careers but also about their housing and food security.
Now, a 1995 graduate and Pi Kappa Alpha member has issued a challenge to the Knight community. Once 175 other donors make gifts, the donor will give $20,000 to the Student Emergency Fund. READ MORE
