Class of 2001 20th Reunion Class Gift

38% of $110,000 goal
This campaign ended on January 01, 2022, but you can still make a gift to United States Naval Academy by clicking here!

Welcome to Give Campus!

As the Alumni Association continues to respond to our requests to make it even easier to give, we once again are helping to lead the way in new opportunities to do just that!  In 2016, we established an unprecedented, five-year goal of raising $250,000 - the only class who has graduated in this century to set a class gift of this magnitude...and we are impressively close to reaching it!

As we make our final sprint toward the reunion, we are looking for YOU to help get us across the finish line. I cannot adequately express my immense gratitude and pride in how 2001 responded and performed for the All Academy Challenge. I continue to receive positive comments and appreciation from across the country and this is just another chance for us to shine.

If you've already contributed - THANK YOU! If you haven't yet - HERE'S YOUR CHANCE! If you want to go above and beyond and see your name on yet another donor list - YOU ARE AMAZING!

A friendly reminder about what our $250,000 covers:

Remote STEM Outreach Goal $150,000 currently at $59,000

Athletic Excellence Goal $62,500 currently at $48,000

The Naval Academy fund $37,500 GOAL HAS BEEN MET!

For this sprint campaign your gift will be split 85% for STEM OUTREACH and 15% for ATHLETIC EXCELLENCE

With a promise of more asks to come, and more ways to give than ever, I strongly encourage you to consider helping us reach our campaign goal. Every  Single Donation helps and Every Single  Donor makes a difference.

I issue this challenge:

100 donors to pledge $20.01 per month for 5 years. That alone would make us reach our the goal. (If you want to give more I certainly won't argue!) 100 donors - that's only 1/9 of our class. That's a mere 3 beers at McGarvey's celebrating command tours and/or retirements. That's the next morning's Starbucks for our now-extended recovery from the night before at McGarvey's. Just like when we were mids and DFAS automatically withdrew money for the cobbler shop we never used, you can set it up monthly and this time it will be used - for incredible programs that may be applicable to those of us crazy enough to have kids.

Gifts and pledges received by December 31st, 2021, all count toward the class gift goal.

Also, if you find yourself on social media, please be sure to join the Facebook group “USNA 2001” or "U.S. Naval Academy - Class of 2001" on LinkedIn. We will post updates and information about the reunion there as well as over class mail. If you are not receiving my dissertations over class mail, please be sure to update your contact information and check your settings on the Alumni Association page.

Finally, a very grateful "Thank you, again!" to those who have already made their mark on our giving legacyI look forward to being able to call even more people next year to show your contributions really do make a difference, and even more to seeing everyone who can make it to Annapolis on October 23rd!

All my best,
