Payton Price: Creative Access Area

This campaign ends on April 15 at 06:00PM EDT

Hi, I’m Payton and I am so excited about this trip! I am double majoring in Intercultural Studies and Psychology. My parents were Nazarene missionaries primarily in Cotonou, Benin in West Africa but I have lived in places other than the United States such as Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire and Albertville, France. I am so intrigued by culture and the way that people behave socially in their everyday lives. I learned to speak French fluently from the age of 3 and I have been surrounded by English and Spanish speakers since living in the United States. I have never really felt like a “cultural other” except when I initially moved back to the United States, but I at least knew the language. The country that we are serving in is a country where I have no experience, knowledge, or understanding of the culture, language, or practices. I am going to be put in a position that I’ve never really been in before. I can hardly wait to experience all that God has in store for me on this trip and I love and appreciate all the support and prayers for this ministry that we are able to be a part of!
