Hi! I'm Madeline and this is my 3rd year at Trevecca. I am a Religion major with a minor in Intercultural Studies and have loved every second of this experience. This summer I will be going to serve. I haven't been given exact details as to what our team will be doing but I will be sure to give regular updates with new information! One thing I know that we will be doing is spreading the love of Christ and that is what makes this trip incredibly important. My minor requires me to have field experience in an intercultural setting and this trip meets all of those requirements. However, this is not the reason I am going. Ever since freshman year I have been drawn to Trevecca's TAG trips because I believe it helps you experience the heartbreak of God. This is personally wonderful and tragic but the compassion that grows out of things like this is overwhelming and life-changing. Through this trip, I am hoping to learn what it means to be a servant outside of my own comfort zone.
