March is Women’s History Month, and The University of Toledo is celebrating our women students, faculty and staff who are leaders, innovators, nurturers, explorers, providers and champions.
For instance, we honor and recognize women like Sarah Williams, who was the first woman to serve on the board of directors for the Toledo University of Arts and Trades. Williams was a primary advocate and leader for female students to have equal admissions rights to the University in 1886. We also pay tribute to Anna Caroline Motte, the first woman donor to the University.
This year we are recognizing and supporting the Catharine S. Eberly Center for Women Fund, Women and Philanthropy Endowed Fund and the Center of the Muslim Woman. These groups strive for equity and advancement at UToledo and in surrounding communities through programming, conversation and collaboration.
Help us honor the many Rocket women making a difference and create opportunities for the countless women following in their footsteps. Please consider a gift of $25, $50, $100, or more and make your online contribution today.
Thank you for your generosity. Go Rockets!
