A vaccine for rheumatoid arthritis was only a dream, until now. Dr. Ritu Chakravarti, an assistant professor in The University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences, and her team, have developed an experimental vaccine against the disease that has potential to prevent rheumatoid arthritis.
With your generous contribution, Dr. Chakravarti can help bring her research efforts and clinical trials to fruition, creating new hope for the millions worldwide.
You can partner with Dr. Chakravarti in three ways:

Go Rockets!
As the year 2022 is coming to an end, it is time to evaluate our progress during this year. As the patients affected by rheumatoid arthritis kept approaching us, hoping for a cure, it strengthened our determination to take our experimental RA vaccine to the clinic. We have initiated testing the vaccine further to increase its applicability.
Our work was showcased at several conferences and was recognized by university-wide and college-wide awards. To take the next step, we contacted preclinical research organizations and accumulated 1/4th of the amount needed. We are working on getting more funds to take action and make progress.
Thank you to all who have made a gift thus far. Your support will bring us that much further to our goals.
