2021 Diversity and Inclusion Day of Giving

Welcome to UToledo’s 2021 Day of Giving! This year, we’re focused on continuing to promote the success of our students from underrepresented communities through early arrival, summer bridge and mentoring programs — high-impact practices with proven results!

Thanks to these programs, we’ve been able to close the achievement gap for so many of our students. And with your help, we’ll ensure that momentum continues — and our hard-working students go on to earn their UToledo diploma.

Funding Priorities:

Office of Diversity and Inclusion Student Retention Scholarship Fund 2402560 - To provide financial support to assist in student retention at The University of Toledo. Funds will be used to meet emergency or other unforeseen needs that could prevent students from continuing the UT education. First preference will be for students from diverse or underrepresented backgrounds.

Dr. Lancelot Thompson Fund 1302366 - To be used for student activities and student diversity efforts.

Dr. Tony Quinn We are STEMM 1302461 - To benefit a deserving underrepresented minority student at The University of Toledo, in their mission to support a diverse student population. The recipient shall be newly admitted to a graduate or professional program at The University of Toledo. First preference is to a student in the STEMM disciplines (science, technology, engineering, math, and medicine).
