Be a Good Apple 2019

This campaign ended on October 02, 2019, but you can still make a gift to The Orchard School by clicking here!

This year's campaign will kick start Annual Giving and help us finish funding the Fred Lorenz Makerspace!

Donate early to Annual Giving or give to the Makerspace and help us reach our goal of 425 donors by Wednesday, October 2nd. If we reach this goal, a group of generous donors have promised to give $100,000 to Annual Giving! Additionally, all Annual Giving donations from grandparents will be matched dollar for dollar up to $25,000 and all Annual Giving donations from alumni will be matched dollar for dollar up to $15,000.

Join us in the center from Monday, September 30th - Wednesday, October 2nd for coffee and snacks. While you are there, make your donation and place your “Gift Apple” on our donor tree.

*THANK YOU to those who have already made a gift or pledge to this year’s Annual Giving Campaign! Your gift counts towards our 425 donor goal and we will be placing an apple on the tree for you.

Annual Giving provides the essential unrestricted dollars that allow The Orchard School to fulfill its mission to develop and educate the whole child. Tuition does not cover the full cost of educating our students. On average, every student is supported by $1,200 a year through Annual Giving donations.

Orchard’s unique programming serves to advance each student’s academic success, self-confidence, open mindedness, ethical character, leadership and love of learning. This programming is only possible because of the contributions made by our generous donors. Annual Giving contributions bridge the difference between the revenue produced by tuition and the real cost of our nationally-recognized child-centered program.

Our dedicated community of alumni, parents, grandparents, parent emeriti, faculty, staff and friends join together each year to ensure Orchard students have the resources they need to learn, imagine, create, explore, and lead.

We hope you will consider a gift to support Annual Giving this year. Your gift ensures joyful hands-on learning at The Orchard School will continue to inspire students today and tomorrow.

Our makerspace, named for beloved woodshop teacher, Fred Lorenz, will honor Orchard's roots in hands-on education with an emphasis on experimentation and exploration. Students all ages will have the opportunity to build their visions using low-tech and high-tech tools and materials.

We are so grateful for the many donors who have contributed to our overall Makerspace goal of $1.5 million. We’re almost there! Please consider a gift TODAY to help us raise the remaining $75,000 toward our goal and bring this vision to life!
