On Wednesday, May 10th The Hun School will celebrate a day established to encourage all alumni, parents and friends to show their gratitude to Hun by making a gift to The Hun Fund. The goal is to have 250 members of our community make a gift during this 24 hour period and to share their gratitude by making a gift to The Hun Fund which supports all areas of Hun - from the classroom to the athletic fields to the the arts.

We are so very pleased to report that when the dust settled on Wednesday's Raider Giving Day, 463 alumni, parents, faculty, staff and administrators had contributed $204,911 to the School. Historical records aren't kept on such things, but I think it's safe to say this was the best Hun Fund day in the School's history.
And, because of this remarkable outpouring of support, the entire $100,000 Challenge gift was "earned" - so make that $304,991 from 464 donors.
All of us here at The Hun School were particularly moved by and thankful for the many members of the Hun family whose participation and generosity really helped earn all the challenge dollars.
Congratulations to all - and a special thanks to all of you who worked hard to make the day the success it was. Thank you!
Exciting news! We have just received a call from an anonymous Hun School family that has offered a $100,000 challenge to the Hun School community.
Up to a total of $100,000, the family will:
1) Contribute $100 for every gift of any amount to the School between 1:00 pm and midnight tonight. Give any amount - $10, $50, or $250 - and the family will contribute $100!
2) Match dollar-for-dollar every gift of $500 or more to the School - between 1:00 pm and midnight tonight. If a donor gives $500, $1,000, or $10,000 - the family will match the amount dollar-for-dollar!
