About

Parkway Northwest High School for Peace and Social Justice is dedicated to educating the next generation of leaders focused on building a more just and equitable society.  We will be focusing most of our fundraising through a school community golf outing on Friday, September 29, 2023, at Walnut Lane Golf Club.  Through this outing, and through the support of friends of Parkway NW HS for Peace and Social Justice, we will be able to fully deliver on our programming for students during the 2023-2024 school year.

As part of our mission for this year and beyond, Parkway is working on several initiatives this year that need and deserve your support.

  • You can help Parkway launch and maintain year-long, gender-based small group work for 9th and 10th grade students. These groups help scholars transitioning into high school build strong relationships in their school communities that prove critical to their long-term success.
  • You can help institutionalize the work of the Academy for Peace and Social Justice at Parkway Northwest, established in the last school year with a cohort of 20 student leaders. Your contribution will support their monthly social justice newscasts, community and political advocacy activities, and vital voter registration efforts.
  • You can help hardworking students stay motivated and engaged by providing social and emotional incentives like perfect attendance pizza parties, monthly awards for academic achievement, buses for important field trips, and other supports that uplift our students and school community.

With your giving, you will help the students at Parkway Northwest realize their potential as crusaders for peace, equity, justice, and brighter futures for us all.

*If the campaign goal is not reached, all dollars raised may be used for other purposes as determined by school leadership.
