Blaine wants to go there! (Phase 1)

Hello Everyone!

We are James Blaine Elementary School! We currently have more than 350 students and have been in service to our community for nearly a century! We love our students, and believe that every single one of them, regardless of financial background, should have the opportunity to learn outside of the classroom! That brings us to this campaign!

The goal of our fundraising campaign is to provide school-wide field trips for our students.  Students benefit from field trips in countless ways; for those who need hands-on experiences, field trips bring the subjects our students learn to life!  Students can improve their communication skills and become more sociable, self confident and raise their performance in school.  Field trips are a great way to boost motivation and encourage good behavior. Opportunities to learn outside of the classroom has been proven to expand cultural knowledge and build career interests!

Blaine students will be able to experience the history of their city outside of the classroom, and see it for their own eyes! With this campaigns success, they would get to visit historical attractions and museums such as Smith Playground, Strasburg Railroad, the Art Museum, and Valley Forge National Park!

Blaine students want to experience physical activities that will help them learn useful skills like ice skating, gardening, rock climbing, roller skating, or painting! Trying an activity outside of their comfort zone and/or an available activity can boost students' motivation.
