It’s a new year, and we have big goals!
We aim to raise $575,000 this year. Our first goal is to surpass the halfway mark and raise $300,000 by the end of Giving Day on October 19th.
Last spring, the combined 8th and 9th grade Class Gift set a powerful example for our community — raising $60,000 while placing faculty and staff support at the heart of its focus. Thanks to those funds, we increased twelve faculty leadership stipends by significant amounts, specifically for Department Chairs, Team Leads, and Program Coordinators. What a testament to the educational experience of our students and the support of Foote families!
Inspired by these gifts, Aléwa will keep our focus on faculty and staff support as a top priority in this new giving year. If we reach our $300,000 goal by October 19th, we will commit to making those stipend increases permanent. In addition, we will commit to further compensating faculty in the form of Faculty & Staff Excellence Awards. This will mark the first time our school has formally recognized faculty and staff excellence through these financial awards, which give us an opportunity to pause and celebrate the extraordinary educators who bring expertise, creativity, dedication, and care to their work each day. We look forward to sharing more details with you this spring.
