During this unprecedented time, TCNJ students are rising to the occasion. From adjusting to online instruction to helping out in their communities, our students are eager to finish what they started.
But in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis, we are hearing from more and more students that it will be financially challenging for them to return for the fall semester.
In true TCNJ spirit, we want to do everything possible to help make sure our students can continue their education this fall. That’s why, despite the college’s current $4.7 million budget shortfall stemming from significant state budget cuts and revenue losses due to COVID-19, we have recommended to our board of trustees that we not increase tuition for the 2020-21 academic year.
This is just one of many steps we’re taking to support our students in need. Another is the establishment of the Lions Aid Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarship money to students struggling to continue their education as a result of hardships caused by COVID-19.
Please consider showing your Lions Pride through a contribution to this fund. Gifts of any size will make an impact.
Together, we can help enable our deserving students to return to TCNJ this fall.
