Join The Friends of Dr. Casper B. Lonesome as we honor the tremendous impact Dr. Lonesome had on so many of our lives with a scholarship in his name to support future Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) students.
Dr. Lonesome served as director of the EOF, Project CHANCE, at the college from 1968 to 1985. Under his leadership, Project CHANCE helped hundreds of disadvantaged youth attend college and earn a degree. In honor of Dr. Lonesome, we have set a goal of raising $10,000 to put toward a $25,000 endowed scholarship in Doc’s name. Together we can honor this exceptional man and show our appreciation for the tremendous impact he’s had on so many of our lives by supporting future students.
We can all agree that Dr. Lonesome changed lives, and because of Project CHANCE, we were free to dream big dreams. Join us in honoring his legacy.

2259 days ago by TCNJ FundWe just launched the “Divine Nine Challenge.” This is an opportunity for members of the Divine Nine to come together, honor Doc, and compete to see what Greek organization can raise the most funds toward the first $10,000 of the total $25,000 needed to establish this endowed scholarship in Doc’s name.
Just select your Greek affiliation from the dropdown menu when you make your gift, and watch as your chapter climbs the leaderboard! The group that raises the most money will be recognized at the annual tailgate party at TCNJ Homecoming on October 21, 2017.
