The Academic Enhancement plays a critical role in underwriting academic programs at the college. Each year, TCF makes a significant distribution to the college from the Academic Enhancement Fund to support a variety of academic enrichment opportunities for faculty and students.
The Brigadier Fund supports the greatest needs within The Citadel Athletics program at the discretion of The Citadel Brigadier Foundation Board and the Director of Athletics. Those areas include nutrition and innovative training technology, academic assistance, facility improvements, and recruitment and retention of our coaches and athletes.
If you are in a Class Reunion Campaign (Corps alumni from 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2011, 2012 and 2013) we invite you to continue to support your class project on Giving Day. Please select the Class Reunion Campaign Fund, and your gift will be directed to your class project.

| Giving Day is still going strong! We have exceeded our goal of 1,842 donors and unlocked the $250,000 challenge gift, raising over $1 million in a single day. But now, a new challenge awaits! If we reach 2,500 donors by midnight, an additional $75,000 gift from Hazel Graham, Class of 1972, will be released. When combined with today's giving so far, this new challenge gift will put The Citadel well over the $1 million mark for the day's total.
