Today, we ask all Citadel alumni, parents, faculty, staff, students, and friends to invest in The Citadel's future by making a gift of any size!
Giving Day has always focused on the importance of our cadets and students, offering alumni and friends an opportunity to support and enhance The Citadel experience. That focus continues this year, with a new emphasis on the COVID-19 Relief Fund, which supports cadets, faculty and staff, veteran students, and graduate and evening undergraduate students in a variety of ways as we join together to face the impact of the coronavirus on the Citadel community. To learn more about the fund, please click here.
- If we reach our goal of 1,500 donors in 24 hours, we will secure a generous $200,000 challenge gift.
- Participate on social media with #JoinTheMarch to 1,500 donors. Visit our digital toolkit for social media content, or get creative and use your own!
- Every gift counts! This is a participation challenge to reach the 1,500 donors, so each gift, small or large, will help us get there.
- Make your gift, challenge your friends, and share why you chose to #JoinTheMarch on social media.
In addition to the COVID-19 Relief Fund, Giving Day donors may elect to support the more traditional areas that are vital to the cadet and student experience:
The Academic Endowment plays a critical role in underwriting academic programs at the college. Each year, TCF makes a significant distribution to the college from the Academic Endowment Fund to support a variety of academic enrichment opportunities for faculty and students.
The Brigadier Fund supports the greatest needs within The Citadel Athletics program at the discretion of The Citadel Brigadier Foundation Board and the Director of Athletics. Those areas include nutrition and innovative training technology, academic assistance, facility improvements, and recruitment and retention of our coaches and athletes.
If you are in a Class Reunion Campaign (Corps alumni from 1970, 1971, 1972, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1995, 1996, 1997, 2010, 2011, and 2012), we invite you to continue to support your class project on Giving Day. Please select the Class Reunion Campaign Fund, and your gift will be directed to your class project.
Bulldogs are inspired by each other, and the more you share, the greater the impact you will have.
Go Dogs!
If you wish to make a gift via phone, please call 843.953.GIVE (4483) on May 19 from 9:00am-6:00pm EDT.
