2020 #GivingTuesday

#GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past eight years, it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

The Citadel is celebrating #GivingTuesday to honor all our cadets, both academically and athletically, during these challenging times.  The members of the Corps of Cadets have risen to the challenges presented to them, and they aren't done yet.  Join us today to make a difference in the lives of all cadets.

The Citadel Fund (the greatest needs) provides an opportunity to have an immediate impact on campus priorities that support and enrich student life. With the investment of an unrestricted gift, you can address the most urgent needs of The Citadel and give the college the flexibility to help underwrite its most critical objectives. The Citadel Fund supports scholarships, athletic enhancements, capital improvements, communications and outreach, recruiting and retention of key faculty and staff, community and governmental affairs, and fundraising efforts of the college.

The Athletics Enhancement Fund provides vital unrestricted support for all Bulldog athletes.  In a year marked nationwide by difficult conversations about limiting competitions, cutting staff, and altering the overall experience of college athletes due to COVID19-related budget constraints, gifts to this fund allow The Citadel to remain competitive.  Such gifts offset the unexpected costs of nutrition, testing, travel, and other complications while also providing scholarship support for cadet-athletes. By supporting this fund, you directly impact The Citadel’s ability to provide mission-critical resources to benefit the overall experience of our 350+ cadet-athletes.
