About

Each Dawson school year is filled with wonderful opportunities to celebrate our amazing community. But in the 2020-21 school year, gratitude feels a little different and simpler somehow. We are grateful for our community’s health and safety; for the students who continue to show up online and in-person, still so joyful and ready to learn (and always with their masks on); and for the faculty and staff who’ve seen their roles shift in some dramatic ways. Yet, we’ve all remained committed to keeping our campus open because we know it’s what’s best for our students.

In a year unlike any other, we are so grateful to all who continue to support our efforts. We are deeply appreciative of our families’ confidence in our ability to give children an exceptional educational experience, and – more importantly – to keep them both physically and emotionally safe and healthy. It’s your belief in The Alexander Dawson School that keeps us going each day, no matter the challenges and obstacles we face. And it is this whole community – the students, families, faculty, staff, friends, and alumni – that make us who we are: resilient, strong, creative, and determined leaders and educators. That’s the Dawson Difference

In the last five weeks of the Annual Fund campaign, our goal is 100 percent community participation. Give whatever amount you can--it's your participation that matters most! There are several areas to which you can contribute to help Dawson as we actualize our Mission and Vision:

  • Teaching and Learning
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
  • Health and Safety
  • Facilities and Campus
  • Any Area of Greatest Need

Thank you for what has already been an incredible year, and thank you in advance for joining us on this impactful 100-day journey in support of our amazing school.

Updates
Thank you for your support of Dawson's Annual Fund!

This academic year in particular required a lot of sacrifice, resiliency, and steadfast commitment as Dawson navigated some remarkably uncommon challenges. Yet since our 100 in 100 campaign began, we’ve strengthened many important relationships across several constituencies and made unimaginable strides in support of our campus and facilities; health and safety initiatives; teaching and learning resources; diversity, equity, and inclusion work; and our all-around “I Love Everything About Dawson” designation. The unwavering dedication and determination of this School should make all of us proud. Thank you for being a part of the Dawson Difference, and thank you for making a profound impact on the lives of our young learners.
