Javelina Camp

Javelina Camp is a high-intensity three-day experience designed specifically for incoming Freshman. Students who participate in Javelina Camp learn about the spirited traditions of TAMUK, spend time in small "packs" centered on bonding and connecting with students in  an interactive setting, participate in team competitions, reflect on their personal college goals, and most importantly, have fun with other future students. 

As a group, we are committed to providing the incoming freshmen with a positive and memorable experience at Javelina Camp. To achieve this, we are aiming to utilize any donations received to procure necessary supplies, snacks, and materials for games and activities. Our focus is to continue providing free supplies to the pack leaders who volunteer their time to ensure the incoming freshmen are well taken care of during their transition into college life. With your support, we can make this year's freshman camp a success!

Create a Match!

We dare you! Encourage your network to join you in making a gift! You can match gifts dollar for dollar up to a fixed amount and even structure your challenge to be based on donor participation. Matches work best when they are created on the main Javelina Day of Giving campaign. To create a match, simply click on the  "Offer a Matching Gift"  button on the left side of the screen. You can then match by affiliation, your class year, or select a matching designation of your choice.
