About

Internship Funding Program

We are excited to announce the launch of the Internship Funding Program at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, designed to empower undergraduate students by providing financial assistance for their internship experiences. Internships are vital for students to gain practical skills, build professional networks, and enhance career readiness post-graduation. However, the costs associated with completing internships, such as transportation, housing, and unpaid positions, can be a significant barrier for many students.

We strive to raise $5,000 to support 10 students, providing each with a $500 scholarship to help cover these essential costs. By contributing to the Internship Funding Program, you are directly investing in the future success of Javelinas, enabling them to pursue valuable internships without the burden of financial stress.

 Why Your Support Matters:

Real-World Experience - Internships offer hands-on learning opportunities that are crucial for students to apply their academic knowledge in real-world settings.

Career Advancement - Completing internships helps students build their resumes, making them more competitive in the job market upon graduation.

Leveling the Playing Field - Many students come from diverse backgrounds and may not have the financial means to support unpaid or low-paid internships. Your contribution ensures that all students have equal opportunities to succeed.

How You Can Help:

Donate - Every dollar counts. Your generous donation will directly support students in need.

Share - Spread the word about the Internship Funding Program through social media, email, or word of mouth.

Get Involved - If you are a business owner or professional, consider partnering with us to provide internships or mentoring opportunities.

Together, we can make a significant impact on the lives of our students, helping them to achieve their career goals and contribute positively to our community.  Your generosity will pave the way for the next generation of leaders. Join us in making a difference today!

Thank you for your support!
