What is #TaborTime?
#TaborTime is Tabor Academy’s giving day – a day of opportunity to focus on participation. It begins at 7:00AM on Tuesday, February 26th, 2019 and ends on Wednesday, February 27th, 2019 at 2:16PM for a total of 1,876 minutes!
What’s the goal?
Our goal is to inspire 1,000 donors – alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff and friends to make a gift to Tabor Academy. This campaign is to help support our Annual Fund which supports academics, athletics, arts, ocean programming, faculty, financial aid and more. Gifts of all sizes are appreciated and welcome.
Where can I find #TaborTime updates?
On our Give Campus webpage! Each time someone participates the donor and dollar numbers will automatically populate. You can see who else has been participating by clicking on the right hand column. Encourage your classmates and friends so they don’t miss out. www.taboracademy.org/tabortime
How do I get my classmates involved?
Share on social media! Give Campus has an automated link you can share with your friends and classmates via email, texting, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. Showcase your support and tag others who could be involved.
Can I make a challenge or matching gift?
YES! On the top left hand corner of the GiveCampus webpage there are two buttons, 1 for challenges and 1 for matching. Take a look through the guidelines and reach out should you have any questions.
What are the incentives?
We have live incentives on the left hand side of the webpage. When you share your link or gift on social media you create the opportunity for your friends and classmates to “click” and give. Advocates whose links generate gifts earn Tabor Swag! See the left hand column for specifics.
Can anyone participate in #TaborTime?
YES! To be successful, we need all of our community to be involved.
Is my payment secure?
Yes, all payments are processed through a secure online system available only to Tabor Academy. Give Campus is the industry standard for this kind of activity.
Is there a minimum gift?
Nope. All gift sizes are appreciated!
Do pledges count on giving day?
This is a great day to pay off those pledges regardless of when you made it. Specifically, if you have made a pledge to give during this day, please make it online at our Give Campus website.
Can I make a recurring gift?
#TaborTime is focused on one-time gifts. Today’s gift will count toward our #TaborTime goal.
Do I have to support a specific fund for my gift to be counted?
This campaign will focus on the Annual Fund which helps to support all areas of campus and student life. Ex. Athletics, Arts, Student Life,
What if I already made my annual gift this year?
Thank you for your generous support of the Tabor experience! We appreciate your commitment and hope you will consider another gift during #TaborTime. Giving today can also help encourage others to make their gift!
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes. Once your gift has been received, a receipt in the form of an email will immediately follow. Any questions about your receipt can be directed to our Gift Accountant: Bri Hall: bhall@taboracademy.org
