About

As a community, we share in the concern about the coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan, China. With a reported lack of medical supplies in China, student organizations have partnered with the Center for International Services to launch this fundraising project to purchase medical supplies and ship them directly to the hospitals in Wuhan. The main purpose is to contribute our network and resources to help them overcome this epidemic. The list of medical supplies shipped might include: N95 Medical Protective Masks, medical protective clothing (coveralls), medical goggles, and items like these.

All gifts will be processed and acknowledged by Syracuse University and directed to the Center for International Services. Juan Tavares, the Director of the Center for International Services, is the liaison for the student groups to purchase medical supplies through a medical supply company, which will send the materials directly to the identified hospitals in need.
