1994 25th Anniversary Class Challenge

Dear Classmates,

We hope this message finds you well. It is hard to believe that this year marks the 25th anniversary of our graduation from the College of Law! In the wake of an inspiring Law Alumni Weekend, we write to make you aware of a special giving opportunity to support our alma mater.

We are challenging the Class of 1994 to raise $10,000 in honor of our class’s 25th Anniversary, and in commemoration of two very special classmates who are no longer with us: Susan Anne Sovie and Beau Biden. We will match all donations, dollar for dollar, up to $10,000.

Here are a few giving options we hope you’ll consider:

• The Susan Anne Sovie L’94 Memorial Scholarship. This endowed scholarship in the name of our classmate supports students interested in children’s rights, family law, and/or helping the most vulnerable in our society.
• The Beau Biden L’94 Memorial Scholarship. This endowed scholarship, also in the name of our classmate, supports students interested in children’s rights, protecting victims of abuse, and/or helping the most vulnerable in our society.
• The Law Annual Fund. This is the most complete way to support our alma mater. Annual Fund dollars touch every program and activity at the College.

Annual alumni support is truly the lifeblood of our College of Law, and touches on everything from scholarships, to hiring of world-class faculty, to the important pro bono work of the legal clinics. Thank you for your consideration of a special gift to our alma mater, in honor of this milestone.

Boost the ’Cuse: 44 Hours for Syracuse University kicks off at 4 a.m. on November 5, 2019, and ends at 11:59 p.m. on November 6.
