1 day. 24 hours. 1,440 minutes. 86,400 seconds. Immeasurable impact.
Sometimes, all it takes for amazing things to happen is the collective force of a community coming together. That's why we are setting aside one day for the SU community to give back to Susquehanna University as OneSU.
OneSU is the day when alumni, parents, faculty, staff, neighbors and friends join together to help provide Susquehanna students with the experiences and opportunities necessary to give rise to their goals and reach their highest potential. Your gift, to any area of campus most meaningful to you, will advance Susquehanna’s mission and support our students as they become thoughtful leaders, critical thinkers and citizens of the world.
Each year, we become more and more inspired by our community’s loyalty, its generosity and its determination to come together in support of Susquehanna students. Gifts support so many important initiatives, from student scholarships and the Student Care Fund to internship, research and study abroad opportunities. They support every single academic program and the university's NCAA varsity and club sports, ensuring that all students enjoy the best possible Susquehanna experience.
Our Susquehanna community's philanthropy makes that all possible. Let’s continue that good work by coming together as OneSU today.
Your generosity of any amount will be combined with others to have an immediate and direct impact on Susquehanna students. And, when you help us reach our goal of 1,650 donors, you’ll unlock an additional challenge gift of $50,000 from the SU Alumni Board.
PS: Your OneSU gift, regardless of the area of campus you choose to support, will contribute to our Give Rise campaign totals, help us reach our campaign goal of $160 million and, most importantly, give rise to student success.
Thank you to everyone who came together as ONE for Susquehanna!
Your individual gifts helped us reach our goal of 1,650 donors, which unlocked $50,000 additional dollars for SU students. We couldn’t have done it without each and every one of you. On behalf of the students who benefit from your generosity, we thank you! Together, you made a difference in their lives at SU.
As promised, to celebrate the occasion, here's a special dance video featuring Susquehanna alumni, faculty, staff, and students!
There’s still time to make a gift before midnight and it will count toward the final OneSU total. There are still individual challenges and matches to be met and your support could help them meet their goals, as well.
Thank you for being ONE with SU.

Members of the Alumni of Color Advisory Council challenge alumni to support SUConnects, which pairs experienced, high-achieving upper-class students with incoming first-years from underrepresented backgrounds to build a strong, safe community; a sense of belonging at SU; and a culture of excellence.
The council suggests using the last two numbers of your graduation year to make a gift based on one or both of those numbers. For example, if you graduated in 1974, you could donate $74, $70, $47 or $40.
To expand on that a bit – as Jim Stowe P’13 likes to suggest each year – gifts in honor of Bill Lewis ’68, the university’s first male graduate of color, and Theresa Palmer ’73 Tracy, the first female graduate of color, could follow a similar donation formula. Make a gift of $73, $70, $68, $60, etc., or add the two numbers and make gifts of $14 or $10 respectively.
Thank you for your support!

President Green and Ms. Lynn Buck have issued a challenge for all faculty and staff.
For every faculty or staff gift of $10 or more, to any area of campus, President Green and Ms. Buck will make an additional $25 donation to support the Student Care Fund.
Thank you for taking advantage of this matching gift, and thank you for all that you do for Susquehanna students!

Dr. William Remaley joined the Susquehanna University faculty in 1973, serving in the finance department for 30 years. He was known for being an excellent teacher, and has been frequently credited by former students as having prepared their foundation of financial management concepts. In addition to advancing academic skills, he was instrumental in encouraging students to develop a strong work ethic, confidence, and motivation to engage in continuous learning. In these and countless ways, Dr. Remaley has positively impacted the trajectory of his students’ professional careers. He remains among many alumni’s most memorable faculty members.
The Remaley Endowment Fund will be used to support the finance department at Susquehanna University and honor Dr. Remaley's legacy.
Stan Wilcox, class of 1993, has pledged to match up to $50,000 for donations to the fund. There is no minimum donation required to qualify.

Dr. Jerrell Habegger joined the Susquehanna University faculty in 1989, serving as a distinguished member of the accounting faculty for over 32 years. During his time at SU, Dr. Habegger shaped the lives of countless students and formed bonds with colleagues as well. We are grateful for all who have benefited from his keen academic mind and his friendly, easy going personality.
The Habegger Endowment Fund will be used to support the accounting department at Susquehanna University. Even after his retirement in Spring 2022, his legacy at Susquehanna will endure.
Deirdre Kramer, class of 1994, has pledged to match up to $50,000 for donations to the fund. There is no minimum donation required to qualify.
When alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends contribute a total of $5 million to Susquehanna's endowment during the Give Rise campaign, including today during OneSU, a Trustee group will match that with their own donation of $5 million. This will mean a total of $10 million in positive impact to the Susquehanna endowment.
