We don't have to tell you that this school year is starting like no other as COVID19 continues to create new and persistent challenges. This new normal is hard. But we find comfort in knowing that we are tackling this together, as a community. Our commitment to you is to approach this school year with strength, purpose, and care, and to seek joy and laughter in every challenging moment. Whether we are near or far, we know things are better when we're together. Courage and confidence will get us through!
As we settle into the first few weeks of classes, we ask our community to join together in supporting the school, our deserving students, and our dedicated faculty and staff with a gift of any size to the annual fund. Here's why your gift this year is more important than ever:
- Our school needs to be nimble and able to respond quickly to the evolving needs of our students and teachers as COVID19 continues. Your gift to the annual fund provides us with the flexibility to do that, keeping our community safe, whole, and happy as we face new challenges.
- So far this year, gifts to the annual fund have provided additional financial aid to our families, PPE for on-campus learning and classrooms, and advanced technology and faculty professional development to elevate out virtual learning. These dollars are critical.
- Stratford has also been able to improve its IT infrastructure, purchase additional iPads/devices for students and staff, update flooring in the Prentice Robinson Cafeteria and preschool, renovate room 128, increase outdoor seating, and add a nurse practitioner to our staff.
- We have also created a student group called the DEI Alliance (Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion Alliance) to lead our school with efforts to make the best experiences possible for our students and families.
For our current parents, here's a helpful chart to determine your student(s) class year:

What an exciting 18 hours itโs been and itโs only getting better! We have reached our Day of Giving goal of $125,000 and an anonymous donor has given us a challenge. Until 10 PM tonight, they will match the next $20,000 that comes in dollar for dollar. We have the opportunity to bring in another $40,000 for Stratford. Wow...we really are #bettertogether! Join us as we make this happen at www.stratford.org/dayofgiving.

What's that saying, "Teamwork makes the dream work"? Well, that's exactly what's happened with our 2020 Day of Giving. Everyone has pitched in and we're closing in on our goal. Thank you!

Tuition does not cover all the expenses of educating our students. The annual fund and Stratford's Day of Giving helps us bridge that gap.
