Additionally, this technology will alive analysis to provide improved coaching and understanding of the game for student-athletes. The men’s tennis team earned Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team recognition with a 3.74 team GPA and a record high of 11 ITA Scholar Athletes. Our Ducks ranked #39 nationally in ITA and #3 in NCAA region III., bringing home the MAC Conference championship, Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year and Coach of the Year honors. After advancing to the second round of the NCAA national tournament, the program closed the 2022-23 season with a 15-7 record, including key wins over #29 nationally ranked Haverford and regionally ranked Washington College, NYU, and TCNJ.
Funding for state-of-the-art video analysis software and video equipment with live-streaming capabilities will support the team’s plans to build on last year’s success with singles/doubles qualifiers in the NCAA individual tournament and advancement to the NCAA national team tournament’s Elite 8.
