Today is #GivingTuesday.
#GivingTuesday harnesses the potential of social media and the generosity of people around the world to bring about real change in their communities.
For St. John’s College, it provides a platform for alumni, parents, and friends of the college to encourage the donation of time, resources and talents in support of the college, its students, tutors and staff, and the Program.
Last year, 71 donors chose #GivingTuesday to show their support for St. John’s.
Today, we hope you will be one of 100 donors to help continue Freeing Minds on #GivingTuesday.
All gifts count towards the Freeing Minds campaign total and will be matched dollar-for-dollar with a gift to the endowment by the Winiarski Family Foundation.

Thank you for your generous support of Freeing Minds on #GivingTuesday.
Including the 23 donors who gave $7,930 through our institutional giving page, our total for Freeing Minds on #GivingTuesday finished at 358 donors and $100,247.00.
On behalf of our entire community and all who benefit from your generosity, thank you again for your commitment to transforming lives at St. John’s College. We could not do it without you!
Best regards,
Mark Piekarski

"My gift every year to St. John's is my way of showing that, 11 years after I graduated, I'm still invested in the life of the College.
I benefit every day from my education and training at St. John's, and I value being able to reconnect to Johnnies past, present, and future."
1832 days ago by Mark PiekarskiWhen I applied St. John's, I was excited at the prospect of being around with other minds that craved knowledge and thrived on learning. However, when I received the my financial aid package and saw my scholarship I was ecstatic. St. John's has made me a better citizen, a better friend, and, overall, a better person. From the moment I opened my my financial aid package to this week reading Hegel in a preceptorial, knowing that the alumni of this school are supporting curious minds like mine is a constant source of encouragement."

But the Program needs an institution under it that’s vibrant in order for the Program to exist. So, in order to preserve the Program and to support the Program, the institution needs to be supported. It can start with alumni making a gift on #GivingTuesday. That, to me, is the ultimate key.” |
