Class of 78 Endowed Scholarship

This campaign ended on July 01, 2019, but you can still make a gift to St. John's College by clicking here!

The Annapolis Class of 1978 is taking the lead on something significant to help the College and future students.

Members of the class have been working with the College to create an Annapolis Class of 1978 Endowed Scholarship to support student scholarships on the Annapolis Campus.

As donors continue to donate to this endowment the value of the scholarship will grow in perpetuity. As such, it becomes a legacy gift from the Class of 1978.

Our Annapolis Class of 78 Endowed Scholarship crowdfunding initiative will run from June 1, 2019 to June 30, 2019 to help us make this scholarship a reality.  We hope that we get at least 30 donations—averaging one per day—during June.   We encourage all of our classmates to donate, in an amount that feels right for you.  Participation matters!

If you’ve been thinking about making a “stretch gift” and maximize your philanthropic contributions to the College, you can pledge an amount and stretch payments our over five years.  It will go into the class endowment, count as a capital campaign contribution and like all gifts to the College during this period be matched by a dollar for dollar gift to the college endowment by the Winiarski Family Foundation.

Please take a moment and make your gift today.
