Graduating Seniors,
Congratulations on this amazing milestone! As we move on to the next chapter of our lives, it is important that we take a moment to celebrate our accomplishments and those who have helped us throughout our time here at St. John’s University. On behalf of Student Government, Inc., we invite you and your family to the last event of Senior Week - the annual Family Graduate Celebration: A Toast to the Class of 2025! on Saturday, May 17 in Taffner Field House and Tennis Lawn.
Our celebration will offer a variety of savory small-plate fare and refreshments including beer, wine, soda, and sparkling drinks for toasting. A surprise guest will offer a congratulatory toast to our class and welcome us to the St. John's University Alumni Association.
We kindly request your prompt RSVP by purchasing your tickets no later than Friday, May 9. Tickets are $25 each. For those so inclined, we ask you to please consider adding a suggested $10 donation per ticket in support of the Senior Scholarship; however, any amount you can contribute would be greatly appreciated. Each year, the graduating class raises funds to support students in the junior class who need funding to complete their St. John’s degree. We are sincerely grateful for your support of our efforts to pass along the gift of a college education here at St. John’s.
Preceding the Family Graduate Celebration, Commencement Mass will be held at 4 p.m. in Carnesecca Arena. Tickets are required for Mass. Please contact Campus Ministry if you should have any questions.
Graduates are to wear their robe and hood to Mass. Business attire is suggested for both the Mass and Family Graduate Celebration.
