$25K for 10 Years and More
By Cheri Hansen Sullivan
RecWell is celebrating 10 years on the Hilltop, and what a year to celebrate! In January, we will move into the new RCC Expansion complete with new fitness center, GroupX studio, and Wellness Resource Center to support students in all areas of their wellbeing.
We've launched our new LiveWellSEU initiative to support campus wellbeing, and we just announced our next capital project: a renovation of the Lewis Chen Family Field to include artificial turf and lighting.
These projects are exciting enhancements to the Recreation & Wellness community and student experience. They also have presented us with another opportunity: The Functional Training Studio.
A renovation to our current Fitness Studio located in the Alumni Gym into a new Functional Training Studio will serve 2 functions: 1) create a campus Functional Training Studio complete with resources to support this popular training method: box jumps, plyometric training, kettlebells, olympic lifting, suspension training, sled work, tire flips, and more. 2) Create a dedicated space to support Club Sport athlete strength and conditioning: the new Functional Training Studio will be made available for exclusive Club Sport use to support the Club teams' needs for team strength training.
To bring about this new resource, we need the support of our alumni, family, and friends of RecWell. Costs for this project will be upwards of $25,000 for equipment and infrastructure.
Your generous gift will support a new era for both Fitness programming and Club Sport excellence on the Hilltop. Help us celebrate the past 10 years of RecWell by supporting the next 10.
